Will Noni be able to resist temptation – or will she consider rekindling the relationship?

Wales Arts Review

WALES ARTS REVIEW
Gareth Smith

“Fflam demonstrates [S4C’s] influence in its construction and tone but also offers something different from its bilingual counterparts. Adapted from a story by Gwenno Hughes, it promises to serve up several familiar elements with a distinct flavour of its own.”

“Noni (Gwyneth Keyworth) is an ambiguous, temperamental character who bears little resemblance to the bland and functional protagonists that sometimes populate TV crime dramas.”

WALES ARTS REVIEW
Gareth Smith

“Mae Fflam yn arddangos dylanwad y sioeau hyn yn eu hadeiladwaith a’u tôn ond mae hefyd yn cynnig rhywbeth gwahanol i’r rhaglenni dwyieithog. Wedi’i haddasu o stori gan Gwenno Hughes, mae’n cynnig sawl elfen gyfarwydd gyda blas unigryw ei hun.”

Mae Noni (Gwyneth Keyworth) yn amheus ac anianol – yn wahanol i’r prif gymeriadau ystrydebol sy fel aml yn poblogi straeon fel hyn.”

“Fflam is a very exciting production with a thrilling story, amazing actors and a compelling script – it’s great to see high quality Welsh drama being created again.”

— Gwenllian Gravelle, Drama Commissioner, S4C
“Mae Fflam yn gynhyrchiad cyffrous gyda stori wefreiddiol, actorion anhygoel a sgript afaelgar - mae’n wych gweld drama Gymraeg safonnol yn cael ei greu unwaith eto.”
— Gwenllian Gravelle - Comisiynydd Cynnwys, Drama S4C
